Session 1: What is Procurement & is it feasible for my business? January 25, 2022

This session will introduce participants to the Procurement process, help determine whether it is feasible for your business, and understand the business requirements in doing business with the government or commercial contracting.
Session 2: My Resources February 1, 2022

This session will introduce participants to the local resource partners in Albuquerque to learn more about their services and programs. New Mexico Resources partners can help small businesses along the procurement process with one-to-one counseling. Most of the services are free of charge.
Session 3: Building Your Procurement Team February 8, 2022

In this session, participants will learn about the critical elements of building an excellent Procurement Team. What are some of the benefits of having experts on your team? Should you look internal or external for these experts?
Session 4: Contracting 101 February 15, 2022

This session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of Federal contracting, products and services, contracting opportunities, regulation, pricing, and accounting systems. It is essential suppliers understand these key concepts when pursuing contact opportunities.
Session 5: Getting Contract Ready (The 9 R's of Contracting) February 22, 2022

This session will introduce participants to the 9 R’s of contracting and why they are essential to the bid process. Misunderstanding the requirements and information requested from federal contract sections can cost you a contract. Most Federal contract proposals follow the format proposed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Session 6: All-Agency Registration March 1, 2022

In this session, participants will learn how to do business with federal, state, county, city, and anchor institutions in New Mexico. Participants will have the opportunity to register with these agencies and the procurement opportunities currently available.
