Growing Small business
OBJECTIVE: The Growing Small Business (GSB) is an eight-week development program to assist small business owners by providing practical strategies and actionable insights on key areas like strategic planning, financial management, and customer engagement. Participants will boost their business knowledge, increase profitability, and achieve sustainable growth.
Emprendedores I
OBJECTIVE: Emprendedores will provide Hispanic and Hispanic women-owned entrepreneurs with a basic understanding of how to start a small business and the resources to support entrepreneurs. Sessions are offered in Spanish and occur once a week over a six-week course.
Procurement Series
OBJECTIVE: The Procurement Series is a six-week program that provides small businesses (suppliers of goods and services) with the necessary tools and resources to unlock the mysteries of procuring contract opportunities with the federal, state, and local governments and anchor institutions in New Mexico. It will enable participants to navigate the complex landscape of procurement processes, regulations, and best practices. Sessions meet once a week over the six weeks.
Procurement MatchMaking
OBJECTIVE: Join us for our Procurement Matchmaking Roundtable, a high-impact networking opportunity connecting small businesses with government agencies, corporate buyers, and procurement professionals actively seeking vendors. Gain valuable insights into upcoming contract opportunities, learn how to navigate public and private sector procurement, and expand your network to elevate your business visibility. Whether you're just getting started or ready to scale your contracting portfolio, this event is designed to position you for success. Open to all industries—free to attend with registration required.
Digital Deep Dive- Digital Marketing for Growth
OBJECTIVE: Elevate your online presence with our 6-week, in-person Digital Deep Dive: Digital Marketing for Growth. This hands-on training series equips entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical, expert-led strategies to create impactful marketing that attracts customers and drives results.
Spanish Language Course
This pilot program beginner Spanish course is designed for adult learners with little or no prior knowledge of Spanish. The program integrates language instruction, pronunciation, and cultural awareness, allowing students to build confidence and practical communication skills.
Youth Summit and Futures Fair
OBJECTIVE: Unlike traditional job fairs, the Youth Summit and Futures Fair connects students and young adults to resources for developing their college and career plans after high school. The Youth Summit strives to empower students with practical insights into financial literacy, debt awareness, career readiness, and educational planning by offering tailored workshops and academic resources from various educational resources, colleges, trade schools, financial institutions, and local businesses.
Lunch and Learn
Our Lunch & Learn series delivers high-value insights in a time-efficient format, designed for busy professionals and business owners. Each session features expert-led discussions on relevant topics—from sales and marketing to finance and operations—paired with practical takeaways you can implement immediately. Enjoy a collaborative environment, expand your network, and walk away with strategies that drive measurable growth—all over lunch.
Resource Partner Office Hours
Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce hosts regular Partner Office Hours designed to connect members and small businesses directly with trusted resource partners. These one-on-one sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, receive guidance, and explore support related to business development, procurement, financing, workforce, and other key areas.
Office Hours are open to Chamber members and small businesses seeking personalized assistance and practical next steps. Availability and focus areas vary by partner, and advance registration is required. These sessions are part of the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to strengthening small businesses through access, relationships, and tailored support.
