Beginner Spanish language course

Take your Spanish language to the next level!


This pilot program beginner Spanish course is designed for adult learners with little or no prior knowledge of Spanish. The program integrates language instruction, pronunciation, and cultural awareness, allowing students to build confidence and practical communication skills.



When: March 11, 2026 - April 29, 2026

(1 class per week, every Wednesday morning)

Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Where: Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Boardroom - 1309 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

Class Fee: $350 AHCC Members | $450 Non-members


This is an 8-week beginner-level Spanish course aligned with the CEFR A1* level. Classes meet once per week for two hours each session, for a total of 16 hours of instruction.

  • Small-group instruction
  • Focus on speaking and pronunciation
  • Cultural exploration of the Spanish-speaking world
  • Instructor-prepared materials


This is a supportive, respectful learning environment. Making mistakes is part of learning. Participation and curiosity are encouraged.
