The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce’s Convention & Tourism Department is proud to support and welcome Great Minds in STEM as it brings its 38th Annual Conference to Albuquerque in 2026—marking the conference’s first-ever appearance in New Mexico.

Hosted in the heart of downtown at the Albuquerque Convention Center, with the Clyde Hotel and DoubleTree by Hilton serving as host hotels just steps away, the three-day conference will convene innovators, educators, students, and industry leaders from across the nation. Attendees can expect GMiS’ signature mix of networking, recruiting, and recognition events, alongside the return of popular collegiate competitions and the STEM Talk Showcases introduced in 2025.

Highlights include the Speed Networking Breakfast, GMiS Scholars Reception, and the Saturday Career and Graduate School Fair, culminating in the prestigious HENAAC Awards Show and receptions on Friday evening, September 18.
